Important Notice on Tariffs

As you know, we currently have a 104% tariffs on Wheels of Time production made in China and with possible threat to 125%. The tariffs on products made in China are unsustainable for a small business like Wheels of Time and in broader sense will really damage the model railroad industry.

Our current project with RailSmith (N scale baggage-express cars) which will be wrapping up in May sometime will have a line item called "tariffs" that will be collected before we ship those products. At the moment, we don't know how much that will be and how much Wheels of Time can actually absorb.

Additional all Wheels of Time production from China will be curtained until tariff situation becomes economically feasible again.

However, our 3D printed and resin cast products will remain in production since they are made in here locally.

A Waiting and a Warm Wish to You in this Season

A season of waiting. Here at Wheels of Time, I am waiting for my factory to complete the production of our special run of heavyweight baggage-express cars with RailSmith.  I am waiting to finish with all the end of year stuff, one must do as a business.

Here in the photo sequence, where we are waiting for the Caltrain special Christmas train to come through. It was late because of an auto was stuck in the tracks.  Was it worth the wait?  Yes!  
Below is my SP C-40-3 caboose #1172 which I built from a modified TrainCat kit -  in-between all my work, assignments and family life.  Well, mostly finished except the frog eyes and interiors - after more than 10-yrs in the making!  Definitely worth the wait.

Waiting is worth it. It's hosting something that is yet to come. It’s like Advent before Christmas.

• It's almost summer and Wheels of Time is having a sale on our N scale Fish-Belly Flatcars! Take advantage of this - until June 30th or when stock is sold out.

• As you most of you know, RailSmith has commissioned Wheels of Time for a special run of our N scale 70-ft baggage-express cars to match their "Build-A-Train" You don't want to pass this up. A number of our pre-production samples are to be shown at the N scale Bethlehem Convention @ RailSmith booth.

* On June 21st, Wheels of Time has an exciting announcement.

Jim Starbuck sent us some of his photos of his fine workmanship. It's a Wheels of Time N scale DIY kit for the Milwaukee Road verson of the FM H12-44. Jim said, "This built into an excellent model.
